Day 1
Drive to Pokhara (200 KMS, 6 Hrs)
On the date/time of arrival in Kathmandu, we organise a warm welcome for you at the airport. You can book the airport transfer at the checkout for this arrangement. You will meet your friendly guide, welcoming you in traditional, Nepalese hospitality then transfer you to your hotel. Relax and prepare for an epic journey ahead. The next day, your Himalayan motorcycle adventure begins with a scenic ride to Pokhara. Pokhara is Nepal’s premier adventure hub and gateway to the Annapurna region. You will experience breathtaking mountain views, tranquil landscapes, and the peaceful beauty of Phewa Lake—perfect for the start of an unforgettable journey.
Day 2
Pokhara – Tatopani (1190M, 115 Kms, 6 Hrs)
Ride to Tatopani, a scenic mountain village in Nepal famous for its natural hot springs. After an exhilarating day on rugged Himalayan trails, relax and rejuvenate with a soothing soak in the therapeutic thermal waters—an ideal way to unwind on your motorcycle adventure.
Day 3
Tatopani – Jomsom (2980M, 90 Kms, 5 Hrs)
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before hitting the road by 9:00 AM. Today’s ride takes you into the high Himalayan zone, with an exciting off-road journey that passes by some of the world’s highest peaks in the eastern range. As you ascend, witness the dramatic change in vegetation and soak in the breathtaking natural beauty of the region. Arrive in Jomsom, a key town in the Mustang region, where you’ll have leisure time to relax and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 4
Jomsom – Muktinath/Kagbeni (3800 M) (30 Km)
After breakfast, begin your ride toward Muktinath via the historic village of Kagbeni, the gateway to Upper Mustang. Surrounded by stunning Himalayan views, Kagbeni offers a glimpse into traditional mountain life. Continue ascending on a narrow but smooth blacktopped road to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site nestled beneath the Nilgiri Himal. Revered by both Hindus and Buddhists, Muktinath is also a key stop on the Annapurna Circuit. Explore ancient temples, meet local highlanders, and take in breathtaking views of the Kali Gandaki River. Fossil souvenirs (ammonites) dating back millions of years are available. After exploring, descend to Kagbeni for an overnight stay.
Day 5
Kagbeni – Ghami (3520 M, 64 Kms, 4 Hrs)
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before riding into the breathtaking Upper Mustang region—Nepal’s restricted and hidden Himalayan kingdom. After crossing the checkpoint at Kagbeni, you officially enter this ancient, culturally rich territory. Ride along rugged trails beside the Kali Gandaki River, passing remote mountain villages and witnessing the raw beauty of Himalayan life. As you ascend toward the “Roof of the World,” marvel at the vast, colorful cliffs, dramatic canyons, and otherworldly landscapes unique to Upper Mustang. The route takes you through high-altitude settlements over 3,800 meters and across the Nya La Pass at 4,010 meters. After an exhilarating day of off-road adventure, arrive in the remote village of Ghami for an evening of rest and cultural immersion.
Day 6
Ghami – Lo Manthang 3810 M via Tsarang Sightseeing 3560 Metres (5 Hrs)
After breakfast, ride toward the tour’s ultimate destination, Lo-Manthang, crossing iconic Mani walls and the large village of Tsarang (3,560m). Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views en route before arriving at Lo-Manthang, a medieval walled city and ancient capital of Upper Mustang at 3,800m. This isolated Tibetan settlement, also known as the Forbidden Kingdom, offers rich history and stunning mountain vistas. Rest at your tea house to acclimatize and prepare for the next day’s exploration.
Day 7
China Border and explore around Lo Manthang (4660 Metres)
Today is a full-day Upper Mustang exploration. After breakfast, ride to Kora La (4,660 meters), the high-altitude Nepal-Tibet border located about 20 km from Lo Manthang. This paved mountain pass sits on the Tibetan Plateau—known as the “Roof of the World”—offering stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas and surrounding valleys. As you reach the furthest point of your ride beyond Lo Manthang, enjoy free time with your group or visit a local school to distribute educational supplies and share joyful moments with the children. Later, explore nearby cultural sites like Jhong Cave—a five-story cliffside fortress with over 40 rooms—before riding back to Lo Manthang for an overnight stay. Relax and prepare for the long ride back tomorrow.
Day 8
Lo Manthang – Kagbeni (8 Hrs)
Today marks the longest ride of your Upper Mustang adventure. After an early breakfast, start your descent along the scenic serpentine trails via Ghiling. Enjoy breathtaking views of the vast plateau lands and panoramic Himalayan peaks throughout the day. This stunning motorcycle journey offers an unforgettable blend of rugged terrain and natural beauty. Rest and recharge upon arrival in Kagbeni, a charming gateway village to Upper Mustang.
Day 9
Kagbeni – Tatopani
Wake up to stunning panoramic views in the peaceful surroundings of this remote Himalayan village. After breakfast, begin your ride back to Tatopani via Jomsom, passing through Marpha—known as the “Apple Garden of Nepal”—and other charming Himalayan settlements like Lete and Ghasa, time and energy permitting. Arrive in Tatopani and unwind with a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs, perfect for soothing tired muscles after days of riding. Enjoy leisure time and overnight stay in this tranquil mountain town.
Day 10
Tatopani – Pokhara
After breakfast, start your ride at 9:00 AM toward Pokhara. Enjoy 16 km of off-road adventure before rejoining the smooth asphalt road. Upon arrival, relax and explore Pokhara’s famous Lakeside area. Take in stunning panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayas as you reflect on your epic journey through Nepal’s majestic mountain landscapes.
Day 11
Pokhara – Kathmandu
After breakfast, begin your ride at 9:00 AM, returning to Kathmandu by 5:00 PM via the scenic river valley route. Celebrate the end of your unforgettable Upper Mustang tour with farewell drinks and a BBQ. Receive a custom-designed tour T-shirt as a keepsake and join the group photo to capture lasting memories. Finally, transfer to your hotel for a well-deserved rest after exploring the restricted and magical lands of Upper Mustang, Nepal. If airport transfer is booked, on your chosen date and time, our guide and vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the airport. You will experience a warm Nepalese farewell as we bid goodbye to our riders.
