    The 17-day Everest View Ride and Base Camp Trek is the ultimate adventure for travelers dreaming of experiencing the magnificent, mighty Mount Everest both from the saddle of a motorcycle and on foot. This unique overland expedition seamlessly combines a thrilling motorcycle tour with a classic Himalayan trek through some of the world's most enthralling landscapes.

    The first phase of this motorcycle holiday focuses on capturing spectacular views of Mt. Everest and the surrounding Himalayan ranges. As you ride through lush green valleys, serene hills, and along rushing rivers, you will explore centuries-old UNESCO World Heritage Sites and experience the rich cultural heritage of the Nepalese people. You will ride through Bhaktapur, one of the oldest towns in Nepal, ascending to the famous Nagarkot viewpoint (2,300m) to catch a breathtaking sunrise over Mount Everest to the east.

    The second phase of the journey transitions into a legendary high-altitude trekking adventure to conquer the trails leading to Everest Base Camp (EBC). Renowned as one of the most spectacular mountain treks in Nepal, the route rewards you with jaw-dropping alpine scenery and an immersive cultural experience among local Sherpa communities.     Everest view ride and base camp trek
    Ride to Nagarkot – Bhaktapur – Dhulikhel – Kathmandu

    Begin your day with an exhilarating ride to Nagarkot, where you’ll be treated to a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas, including the majestic Mount Everest. After soaking in the views, ride down to the ancient city of Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can explore timeless temples, palaces, and courtyards. Continue your journey to the serene town of Dhulikhel, known for its panoramic mountain vistas and charming ambiance. Return to Kathmandu in the evening, with unforgettable memories of the day’s adventure.     Half-Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

    We begin today’s adventure with a cultural immersion in Kathmandu on an AC hiace van. Visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the spiritual heart of Hinduism in Nepal, where rituals and ceremonies take place daily along the banks of the Bagmati River. Continue to the serene Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a center for Tibetan Buddhism. Finally, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with ancient temples, palaces, and courtyards that reflect the city’s rich history. In the afternoon, meet your trekking guide for a trip briefing and final preparations.

    Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (4 Hours, 2,860m)

    Take an exhilarating morning flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Upon arrival, begin your trek through the lush Dudh Koshi Valley, passing charming villages, prayer wheels, and chortens along the way. Arrive in Phakding, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy teahouse nestled by the riverside.

    Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (6-7 Hours, 3,450m)

    Today’s trek takes you deeper into the Himalayas as you follow the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. After a challenging ascent through pine forests and past the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, you’ll arrive at Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital. Enjoy the first stunning views of Everest and the surrounding peaks.

    Rest Day in Namche Bazaar

    Take a well-deserved rest day in Namche to acclimatize to the higher altitude. Explore the vibrant local market, visit the Sherpa Culture Museum, or hike up to the Everest View Hotel for breathtaking panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. This is a day to relax and soak in the unique atmosphere of the region.

    Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (6-7 Hours, 3,864m)

    Trek through rhododendron forests and along scenic ridges with constant views of the Himalayas. As you approach Tengboche, the trail opens up to reveal a magnificent monastery, one of the most important in the region, set against the backdrop of some of the world’s highest peaks. The sunset over Ama Dablam from Tengboche is unforgettable.

    Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (6-7 Hours, 4,410m)

    Descend through forests of birch and conifers before crossing the Imja Khola River. The landscape gradually changes as you climb above the tree line into a world of alpine meadows and rugged mountain views. Arrive in Dingboche, a picturesque village surrounded by fields of barley and potatoes, and ringed by towering mountains.

    Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (6-7 Hours, 4,930m)

    Today’s trek takes you through some of the most dramatic landscapes of the Khumbu region. Pass the memorials at Chukpo Lari, dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest, before continuing to Lobuche, a small settlement tucked into a rocky landscape. The views of Nuptse, Pumori, and other peaks are awe-inspiring.

    Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and Return to Gorak Shep (8-9 Hours, 5,364m)

    This is the day you’ve been waiting for! Begin your trek to Everest Base Camp, following the Khumbu Glacier with towering peaks all around. Reach the iconic Base Camp, where climbers prepare for their ascent of the world’s highest peak. After soaking in the incredible views, return to Gorak Shep for the night.

    Day 11
    Climb Kala Patthar and Trek to Pheriche (6-7 Hours, 4,240m)
    13 kms

    Rise early to climb Kala Patthar, the best viewpoint for a close-up view of Everest, Lhotse, and the surrounding peaks. The morning light creates a magical atmosphere as the sun rises over the Himalayas. Descend to Gorak Shep for breakfast, then continue down to Pheriche, a village nestled in the wide valley below.

    Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche (6-7 Hours, 3864 m)
    10 kms

    Retrace your steps back to Tengboche, enjoying the easier descent and the warmer air as you drop altitude. Take the time to visit Tengboche Monastery again, perhaps witnessing an afternoon prayer session, and enjoy the peaceful environment of this spiritual haven.

    Day 13
    Trek from Tengboche to Khumjung (5-6 Hours, 3,780m)
    8 kms

    Trek to Khumjung, a traditional Sherpa village known for its unique culture and stunning location beneath the shadow of Khumbila, the sacred mountain. Visit the Khumjung Monastery, which is said to house a yeti scalp, and explore the Hillary School, founded by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1961.

    Day 14
    Trek from Khumjung to Phakding (6 -7 Hours, 2,610m)
    17 km

    Continue your descent back towards Lukla, passing through Namche Bazaar and retracing your steps along the Dudh Koshi River. The lower altitude brings more oxygen and warmth, making the trekking easier and more enjoyable. Arrive in Phakding for a restful night by the riverside.

    Trek from Phakding to Lukla (4-5 Hours, 2,840m)
    8 kms

    Your final day of trekking takes you back to Lukla, where you can celebrate the completion of your incredible journey with your fellow trekkers. Reflect on the experiences and challenges of the trek, and prepare for your return to Kathmandu.

    Fly Back to Kathmandu (35-Minute Flight)
