This Kathmandu to Gangtok via Darjeeling, 15 days motorcycle tour is prepared for riders who are fond of long distance riding, sightseeing, and exploring this enthralling Himalayan paradise. This tour offers riding as a private group with your fellows to experience an adventure ride over unique topographical features in the West Bengal state of India up to a glacial lake called Tsomgo, 40 km north of Gangtok, poised at an altitude of 3780 M in the Himalayas. The lifestyles of Nepalese people living in villages, towns, and cities in the mid-hills and lowlands will be observed while riding. Riders find themselves surrounded by gigantic mountains when they head towards Phikkal Bazar in the eastern region of Nepal. Furthermore, getting over to Darjeeling will rejuvenate your body and mind with its greenery, where you will find yourself in front of Mount Kangchenjunga (3rd highest peak in the world) and within the world’s famous tea garden at an elevation of 2000M. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, one of the world’s heritage sites, can be experienced. Going further North from Darjeeling, known as the Queen of the Hills, a delightful Gangtok will be reached in a few hours’ ride on the Indian Terrain. The choice of bike depends upon the tour type. Some of the package requires certain type of bike only for safety and ease. If the tour is mostly short and near the valley we might allow you to choose the ride. But most of the time, we stick with the package type.
The accommodation plan is usually defined in the package details. Near the valley we will provide you 3 star hotels, but outside the valley deep in moutain or hilly regions due to lack of such accomodation we accomodate you into local lodges and tea houses.
Yes, We infact highly advise our customers to bring their own gears if they want.
