The Upper Mustang Motorcycle Ride & Trek with a Guide (altitude: 4660 meters) is 15 days combo adventure trip including arrival and departure. It is an independent tour accompanied by a professional guide for your convenience, safety, and assistance. This is an ideal and cost-friendly version of T15 Fully Guided Tour and Trek customised for two people or a small group who want freedom of travel in peace, privacy, and security. The Upper Mustang motorcycle ride and trek is a difficult off-road ride, and exploring the restricted area by hiking is extremely worthwhile for travelers who enjoy adventure rides and treks at the same time. OUTLINE ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to hotel: Arrival in Kathmandu. Touch down in Nepal’s vibrant capital. Meet your friendly guide, welcoming you in traditional, Nepalese hospitality and transfer to your hotel. Relax and prepare for an epic journey ahead.
Day 2: Kathmandu – Pokhara: Begin your adventure with a scenic ride to Pokhara, the gateway to the Himalayas. Enjoy serene lakes and mountain views.
Day 3: Pokhara – Tatopani: Ride to Tatopani Head towards Tatopani, known for its natural hot springs. Unwind after a thrilling ride with a relaxing soak.
Day 4: Tatopani – Kagbeni (2810 M): Ascend into the Mustang region. Ride through rugged terrain to reach Kagbeni, a charming village steeped in Tibetan culture.
Day 5: Ride Kagbeni (2,810m) to Ghami (3,460m): Traverse dramatic landscapes, crossing high-altitude passes to reach Ghami. Spend the night in a traditional tea house.
Day 6: Ghami to Lo-Manthang (3,800m): Ride to the ancient walled city of Lo-Manthang. Explore its unique architecture and vibrant culture. Overnight at tea house.
Day 7: Trekking around Lo Manthang: Exploration of Lo – mangthang – wall city. Overnight at tea house in Lo- Manthang.
Day 8: Trekking around. Jhong Cave and Gerphuk Monastery. Exploration around and stay at night in local house near at Choser village.
Day 9: Trek back to Lomanthang via Gharphu, Niphu amd Dhuk. Exploration local and oldest monasteries, Chorten. Overnight at tea house
Day 10: Ride Lo-Manthang to Kora la (4600 m) and back: Ride to Kora La and Back. Take an exhilarating ride to the Tibetan border at Kora La Pass and return to Lo-Manthang for the night.
Day 11: Ride Lomanthang – Kagbeni: Begin your descent, retracing your route to Kagbeni, enjoying the Himalayan vistas and an amazing adventure ride over awe inspiring Himalayan terrain.
Day 12: Kagbeni – Beni: Ride through the Kali Gandaki Gorge, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, to reach Beni.
Day 13: Beni – Pokhara: Return to Pokhara and relax by Phewa Lake. Celebrate the successful completion of your Mustang adventure. Have a look at the mountain again in the far horizon humbly greeting you for your visit into its wide stretched arm.
